Solitary Vale Resort is an abosolute escape to tranquility at the serene hillside by Lake Baranti, where the charm of nature meets warm hospitality, offering cozy cottages, lush lawns, a refreshing swimming pool, melodious birdchirps, and delicious homestyle meals.
In a nutshell, its a highly recommended weekend getaway from urban life to enjoy with family and friends.

This was my first family to Purulia. We choose to stay here. The resort is located at the foothills.
Every room of this resort has a balcony. The rooms are very spacious and clean and well decorated.
Food is also very good.
Most importantly the behaviour of the staff and the manager was very good and always available.

Had an amazing 2-day stay at Solitary Vale Resort in Baranti in Nov 2023. The resort, nestled at the foothills of Muraddi hill, offers a serene and calm atmosphere. The Baranti lake, just a 5-minute walk away, adds to the picturesque setting. Rooms, food, and staff behavior were excellent, and the swimming pool became our favorite spot. Special thanks to Mr. Swarnava Mukherjee, the manager, for his exceptional assistance. Overall, a very good experience!
